DropBench

Press Space, drop something in, and get the next action — not a chat window.

Download for macOS Version 1.0.0 · macOS 15 or later · Apple silicon and Intel

DropBench is $5, plus sales tax where it applies. The download above is not locked and there is no licence key — the app has no way to check, and adding one would mean putting a phone-home in software whose whole claim is that it doesn't have one. Pay $5 if it earns a place in how you work.

What it does

DropBench recognises what you dropped — an invoice, a screenshot of an error, an address, a link, a stack trace — pulls out the facts that matter, and offers three or four things worth doing with it. You pick one. That's the whole app.

It runs on your Mac

The privacy statement says exactly what does and does not leave your Mac, in enough detail to check against the app's behaviour.

Installing

Unzip it and drag DropBench to your Applications folder. It lives in the menu bar — there is no Dock icon, because it is summoned rather than opened.

The app is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens without warnings. It asks for Reminders or Calendar access only at the moment an action needs it.
